The sky will be bursting with color as the North Shore celebrates
Independence Day. The following towns will launch firework displays for
everyone to watch:
Wednesday, July 3
Danvers Fireworks
Festival, 5 to 10:30 p.m. at Plains Park, Holten Richmond Middle School,
55 Conant St. Part of Danvers Family Festival. Includes live music,
rides, food, games, patriotic program, raffle and fireworks display.
Bring blankets and chairs. Rain date, July 5.
Swampscott Fireworks, 7 p.m.,
fireworks display begins at dusk. Humphrey Street will be closed
beginning at 7 p.m., and parking on the ocean side of Humphrey Street,
from the Lynn line to Red Rock Bistro, will be prohibited from 7 to 10
